About Peoplecraft

My name is Vivienne and I live close to Tewantin on The Sunshine Coast.

I specialise in creating 1:12th scale miniature foods for the miniature shop or Dollhouse. I also sell a wide range of other 1:12 scale accessories.

I have taught many crafts over the years such as Bread Dough Jewellery - Tole Painting – making Fairies and Witches and Character People made from clay.

These started out as spare time hobbies before being asked to teach these crafts.

My day job was manager of a very busy medical practice before moving to Queensland in 2003. Having a daughter with disabilities that started when she was around 18 years old it became more and more necessary for me to stay home. Hence Isabella’s (my daughters second name) was created.

Born in the UK, each year our family went on holiday to Brighton and stayed at Ovingdean. We use to walk over the downs and at Rottingdean there was a museum and it had full-length walls on both sides filled with Dollhouse items. I was mesmerised by them for hours, my parents had to drag me away or I would have been there all day! My father built me my first Dollhouse and I still have some small items that filled that house and I would never part with them.

My desire to create some of the little dolls and items in the Rottingdean museum led me to dig in the garden looking for clay and mud and, with a cup of water, I would start to make dolls and all sorts of other wonderful delights that my parents somehow "lost" on the way home from the holiday!

As we all know, life can be stressful at times and my way of relaxing is by producing delightful edibles in 1:12 scale. I often make complete shop counters and miniature shops for people all over the world.

Preferring to have a consignment I can get stuck into like a Chocolate Shop or Fishmongers or Butchers to Bakery Wedding Cakes and Smorgasbords to Banquets and Children’s parties, I will never turn away anyone who just wanted a single item made. All of my customers are important to me. If there is anything you want to see on my website always ask and I will make it for you. As everything I make is totally hand-made, it is impossible to get two items the same. For this reason I prefer my customers to tell me what they want made.
