Empowering people to craft their own lives

1

Build Individual Skills
We recognise that every individual is different and with this in mind, we can create individualised skill development sessions to meet your current needs. Together we can look at your NDIS goals and formulate practical sessions, explicitly teaching and modelling the skills you need to achieve those goals.

2

Practical Solutions
At People Craft Supports, we recognise that there’s more to your journey than the NDIS! Not only do our coordinators know the NDIS system and will help you understand your plan and funding, but we will also look past this, at the bigger picture. We will help you to set personal goals (beyond your NDIS goals), to focus on the things that matter to you across all areas of your life and will link you with community, mainstream and other government services

3

We Will Advocate For You
Our employment advocacy service means you are not alone in navigating issues like pay conditions and employee rights. We can advocate on your behalf or help you gain the skills and confidence to self-advocate

4

Psychological Supports
A Psychosocial Recovery Coach can support people with a psychosocial disability who require support managing complex challenges of daily living, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives.

5

Pre-Planning & Support
Do you need help applying for the NDIS? We can help you through every step of the application process including advice about the evidence you need, filling out the application process and support and advocacy at your planning meeting

6

NDIS Navigation
Navigating the NDIS system as a provider can be a daunting task. We can provide support coordination training, training for using NDIS line items and billing from the correct NDIS codes.

Small Group Skill Development

Our programs are written by a qualified educator who has extensive education and disability experience. They are designed primarily with the needs of the individual and fill a much-needed gap in the disability sector in our regional area. Focusing on practical skills required for individuals to function in the community, they empower people to maintain their own independence and achieve their NDIS goals.

Our Motto

Empowering People to Craft Their own Lives

Our primary goal at Peoplecraft is to provide the types of services that are truly helpful to individuals, families and children. Guided by your NDIS goals, we can tailor supports to help you within the context of your life journey. We strive to form and maintain open and honest working relationships with people and welcome feedback on our services

Our Vision

At Peoplecraft we are committed to providing person centred practice, with you in the driver’s seat of your own lives. We aim to work with individuals to ensure quality of NDIS and community services, to help build and maintain capacity. With a focus on skill development training, we are eager to hear from the community, to determine what skills you would like practical support with, to expand your independence and community participation.

How our services can support you

Executive functioning:

This is a big area of focus for many NDIS participants. We can help support you to discover your strengths and weaknesses and assess your executive functioning profile. We then work with you in individualised sessions, to formulate strategies you can put into place in your lives to help your daily functioning. From implementing simple techniques, supporting you to purchase technology through your NDIS plan and connecting you to local therapists, there is a lot of strategies we can help you access around executive functioning.

Employment Advocacy:

Talking to your employer can be a daunting process. You may simply want to ask to change from full time to part time but don’t know how to go about it. Or you may be wondering if you are being paid correctly. That’s where we can help. We can facilitate the discussion process and be with you every step of the way to ensure the best outcome for you. Knowing what your employee rights are is an important part of being employed. We can help you explore these issues and more. Contact us today to discuss how we can support you.

One to one skill development:

Gain knowledge to pass the learners permit test, learn how to prepare meals on a budget, explore what a healthy relationship looks like, no matter what your goals, we can tailor sessions to suit your needs. We are always willing to expand our skill development repertoire, so talk to us today about your individual needs.

Small group training:

Small group sizes allow individuals a more personalised approach to skill development, while allowing individuals to meet other like-minded peers and create social connections in the community. Learning together creates opportunities for group members to help each other and share lived experiences.

Tasks We Can Help With

Navigating your NDIS plan

Having a thorough knowledge of the NDIS and how it works, means we can help you navigate your plan, advocate on your behalf and step you through the review process.

Social connection

All our small group programs have time for socialising embedded with the program. We can also connect you to social groups and services designed to help you participate in the community.

Finding the right therapy options

Our team has an extensive knowledge of the region and it is our job to keep up to date with local service providers. Knowing which ones have capacity to take on new clients and which ones can best help you achieve your specific NDIS goals, means you can relax and let us connect you to where you need to go.

Home support

We can connect you to services to help you maintain your home such as cleaning, yard maintenance and support workers.

Maintaining a healthy diet

Do you need a dietician or someone to help you prepare healthy meals. Would you like to learn to cook your own healthy meals?
